Hospice Care

Hospice care isn’t an easy topic to talk about. At European Best, we understand this is a challenging and difficult time that you obviously don’t want to be in. Our goal is to help make things a little better for you and your loved one. Hospice care can begin when a doctor diagnoses them with a life expectancy of six months or less if the illness they have follows its usual path. Keep in mind that hospice care isn’t about ‘curing’ a person; it’s about giving them the tools to live their last days without pain and suffering.

Not everyone is capable of providing adequate, effective hospice care. Hospice care is a special kind of care that requires a special kind of person. Our hospice home health care providers are hand-selected for their compassion, professionalism, and overall kind nature.

What Happens in Hospice Care?

Hospice care is all about working hard to ensure a terminally ill patient's pain is properly managed while attending to their emotional and spiritual needs. Our staff members prioritize comfort and quality of life by helping reduce pain and suffering at the end of life. A typical day can include administering pain medications, chatting with family members, checking in with doctors or nurses, and meeting the patient's needs. Our team members are ready to work with the patient’s health care professionals to create a customized plan to best care for your loved one.
